Special Student Poster Session (Short paper)

Print

The 5th European Workshop On Visual Information Processing (EUVIP2014) will include a special Student Poster Session dedicated to students contributions.

Students are invited to submit a short (2 page) contribution, in which they describe their own research work developed during the PhD thesis or the Master Thesis, for presentation during the Student Poster Session. The Technical Program Committee will perform a peer-review process of the contributions, and the selected contributions will be published in a printed booklet and distributed to participants. Besides, this year the Student Poster Session will allow the students to include showcase live demonstration of the contributions developed in the poster.  Thereby, the Student Poster Session provides a stimulating opportunity for students and young researchers to exchange ideas, get in contact with different laboratories, and to interact with the scientific community. Based on the contributions review and on the quality of the presentation, an award will be assigned to the best contribution to the Student Poster Session.

Electronic submission: a contribution of no more than two pages including results, figures and references will be accepted only by electronic submission to the EUVIP Conference Manager Service, using the devoted Student Poster Session Track. The template for the contribution can be downloaded from the following links - word template - latex template. The submitted contribution should be written in English and should match the topics of interest covered by the workshop, including but not limited to:
