Research Interests

During the last ten years, I was interested in designing efficient data dissemination techniques and quality of service (QoS) schemes in wireless ad hoc networks while targeting some of their major applications. I focused my works on three important applications of wireless ad hoc networks, the wireless body sensor networks WBANs, the large-scale wireless sensor networks LSWSNs, and the vehicular networks (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks VANETs and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles UAVs). In WBAN networks, I was particularly interested in Routing, QoS at MAC level, Cross Layer Architectures and Interference issues. In LSWSNs, I focused my work on Routing, Duty Cycling, QoS, Deployment and energy management issues. In vehicular ad hoc networks, I worked on Geo-localized routing in VANETs and bio-inspired routing in UAVs, on Security and Location Privacy issues in vehicular networks (VANETs and UAVs).
