Student Poster Session

PhD students are invited to submit their completed research or works in progress at the special student poster session organized by the 3rd European Workshop On Visual Information Processing (EUVIP2011). This workshop will provide an opportunity for young researchers to attend presentations given by experts and to interact with the scientific community. An extended abstract of no more than two pages including results, figures and references will be accepted only by electronic submission. The submitted abstracts should be written in English and should match the topics of interest covered by the workshop including but not limited to the following areas

- Human vision models
- Image quality evaluation
- Image quality enhancement
- Color processing and management
- Perceptual image indexing and retrieval
- Multimedia communications
- Analysis and video processing
- Visual tracking of moving objects
- Visual datamining
- Biometrics and Forensics
- Perceptual watermarking and fingerprinting
- Perceptual approach for image compression
- Multi-views processing
- Navigation and support systems for visual impaired people
- Audio-Visual interaction in multimedia
The Technical Program Committee will have a peer-review process according to the IEEE principle. The accepted abstracts will be published in a printed booklet and distributed to participants. The poster student session offers this year the opportunity to showcase live demonstration of the contributions developed in the poster. A best student poster award will be given.
